Simply screw this IO module onto the back of your Dell Rugged tablet, and you’re ready to go! A disadvantage with previous models is that the range of the GPS module is reduced, or disappears. This version has the solution for that. This module has an improved GPS switch. In practice, this means that the speed of the USB ports is adjusted to create a better GPS range.
Works with various Dell Rugged Extreme tablets
This extended IO module works with different types of Rugged Extreme tablets: The Dell Rugged Extreme 7202, 7212 and 7220 are compatible with this IO module. Check carefully whether the rugged tablet that you have or want to purchase has an expansion connector on the back.
